The euro bengalese was achieved by crossing the Japanese bengalese with the
black manikin and strait finch the result was the euro bengalese
The first mutations established 20 odd years ago was known as the black brown.
Since then this breed has been the must have for Society Finch Fanciers the world over
Much larger and robust then their smaller cousins
the japanese bengalese( society finch) these birds tend to be tighter feathered, harder to breed, and train
as they are much more skittish and tolerate few nest checks.  
In a flock or on their own these birds stunning intricately marked plumage is ( euro bengalese) are a sight to behold
